   Interesting, in this episode of Vocal Minority podcast, mention of Jesse Ventura, pay equity, and Kadin Chung is likely going to Vancouver…

   While my long winded words will be lost in this obscure little corner of the world… wide web. I will still throw them out, even though probably no one will read it all… I beg that you forgive my ramblings that may seem out of place and from another time. Though on rare occasion the square block does manage to go into the round hole…

   You do realize that if anyone decides to go to Vancouver, that their is much to see? I don’t mean pine trees and the Pacific ocean but a pilmigridge is in due order!

   Do you realize what happened in this area? Momentous events that the world still remembers in awe! Strange mysteries that were written down and placed in files…

   Of course I am talking about the first couple of seasons of the X Files, they were filmed here! This is not a lie! I don’t jest! The truth is out there… I want to believe.

   And believe you me! You can actually visit many locations including the apartment building that Scully lived in! You are walking in the footsteps of a great beauty and brains to match. She did more than clean these streets of criminal scum but scum of the supernatural variety! In her capable hands we were all protected.

   Its easy for some to gloss over the X Files as a trivial show from TVs heydey. At the time the character of Scully was unique. Many young women watched television and saw for the first time a bright woman use a combination of critical thinking, courage, and integrity. This may have opened the view of what is possible for them in the future.

   I can’t go on without mentioning one of the more popular episodes “Jose Chung’s from outer space” which is quite humorous and ridiculous. A frustrated writer trying to make a novel out of real or imagined events. Special cameos with Jesse Ventura and Alex Trebeck. The game show host?!

   I’m sure many remember the episode “small potatoes” where someone manages to transform into Mulder and gets very close to seducing Scully. The episode is sad in a way and probably thought provoking to many viewers. I’m sure more then a few wished to be in Mulder’s shoes…

   I will tell you what is outrageous! The fact that Gillian was originally offered half what her costar was given in order to bring back the show. She is clearly indispensable to the series and rightly deserves parity and the same respect as her co star. X Files would never work without her. Such lunacy by Hollywood executives seems almost paranormal, are they under some evil power or not from this world!?

   She isn’t a woman easily forgotten. There were probably a horde of youths that were smitten over her back then, some still are.

   Many geeks and nerds dreamed of lustful nights in the arms of this icon of television. And who could blame any man and quite a few women dare I say. Gillian’s performance was captivating. I can still hear her words to Mulder, “What I find fantastic is any notion that there are answers beyond the realm of science, the answers are there you just have to know where to look.” That line is beautifully delivered by Gillian Anderson.

   She certainly caught the attention of many. Who knows how many young minds she filtered into and made hearts pump faster during dark nights.

   I could only imagine the shame when parents shaked their heads in disapoval when hearing sounds of some strange commotion. Youths in their bedroom actively day dreaming of this fair lady. Their parents would say…”Hacking on your personal computer again?! You are going to corrupt the hard drive!” Certainly a young face would turn a different shade of red from arousal to guilt…

   Some parents might, but I will not wear the robes of a judge! You have not committed a crime, not even of the heart. Judgement I shall not give!

   Put to rest the shame that a mirage tempting you in wicked delights. Your slumber awakened wet with desire. You keep having unnatural visions of a fiery spirit that clutches you in a hold so tight, yet you don’t want to escape! And the pressure keeps building through your body, you pray for sweet release…

   What beautiful beast is this?! A cat? A cougar perhaps? An evil ready to devour you? Has a spell been cast on you? A dream, illusion, or an overactive imagination? Your body reacts in such strange ways…

   I am not a man of science, or a priest to exercise evil spirits, nor a doctor, not even a witch doctor! But I will play the role if you wish and be vocal in my answer…

   Supernatural shenanigans it is not! No sinister plot has befallen on you. This revelation is very natural, yes indeed, for humans quite common. Many are prone to fantasies filling their thoughts.

   I am not here to perform an inquisition! Do not despair, these visions are not of the minority, despite how strange it might seem. No investigation needed, but surely you wish an agent would visit and search your body for clues.

   Relax I will not pry through your files. The file marked X, placed deep inside your personal computer is safe. I shall not share the secrets and mysteries of your heart. Dont fret, your soul is not corrupted. I will absolve you of your sins your mind conjured forth. All is forgiven and have a peaceful night…
