In this episode, the gang is all present to interview their second president in 2017 as Canadian Premier League President Paul Beirne (@Paulbeirne) joins them to discuss his time at Toronto FC, a little bit of Brighton Hove & Albion, and ask the “hard-hitting questions” (as best as we could) about the CPL. In this episode, Tony talks Gremlins, Mark breaks into convulsions with certain trigger words, Kristin tries so hard to get the answers (so hard), Duncan thinks optimism is at least scoring a goal and Paul announces* the fourth club and you won’t believe who it is!

      Someone did a little fact-checking for us:

      Both of Petrasso’s parents, both of Piette’s parents, Jackson-Hamel’s mom and Scott Arfield’s dad (which is what qualifies him to play for Canada). So it was a charming idea but not entirely factual. 🙂

    You guys have stretch breaks?! That is some hardcore podcasting!

    Almost a 2 hour podcast! Are you sure that was an interview and not a intorrogation? Was Beirne strapped down to a chair? Stuck in a small dark cell in the basement of the Vocal Minority studios? You guys must of been slapping him around demanding he reveal all his CPL secrets.

    Lure the poor guy in with free beer and snacks but then you guys spring the trap and hold him against his will. The gang will stop at nothing for the truth. But have you gone too far?

    Beirney boy was a bit of a letdown compared to your powwow with Manning. Could practically hear his buttocks clench during the TFC grilling. Take what you can get, I s’pose.
