Episode 435 – 22/12/21 #DeRoRedo #shenaniganism #LiamButtsEverybody

The gang is all here for the final episode of 2022 where we wrap-up the World Cup in Qatar, talk about GOATs, #TFClive signings in Hedges and Vazquez, and the usual malarkey. In this episode Mark threatens to throw a hypothetical carrot and (guarantees a miss), Duncan wishes for a convincingly happy DP, Tony really enjoyed the Superdraft names and Kristin would roll it like a croissant.

  1. What is this?! Of all the singers you mentioned you failed to utter the most obvious answer…

One name rises above all others from the great Dominion of Canada. A short name that is simple but so sweet…

A name that is just a word, I want to whisper it…

A whisper in the wind that feels like a kiss…

A word that conjures the imagination, and ignites a flame…

From the past but so close to the heart…

A word of sultry, sensuality, that will make many tremble in anticipation…

That one word… the World Cup should welcome…

As the feminine form struts into the stadium…

I introduce to you, the one and only…

    A name few can forget… a name of passion… a name that never ages…

    Mitsou

I can’t wait to hear her singing “Bye bye mon cowboy” after the US national team makes an early exit of the next World Cup. And I will smile in glee as the Mexican team look in confusion and disbelief as she sings “La Corrida” with most of the words not in Spanish or American.
