Episode 480 – 24/02/05 #JouerATrois

The gang is mostly here and joined by special guest Steven Sandor (@stevensandor), editor at Edify Magazine, rehabilitated soccer broadcaster and author. His new book, on race, diversity and hockey, is set to be published by Beacon Press early in 2025.

Everyone’s here to discuss the CanPL/Mediapro fallout, talk CONCACAF Champions Cup with Forge, Vancouver and Cavalry starting their campaigns, TFC preseason, World Cup schedule announcement, a bunch of other stuff and malarkey galore. In this episode Duncan admits to indulging in some ‘American cricket’ from time to time, Kristin swears she doesn’t have World Cup ticket influence (sure she doesn’t, a-wink), Mark renames the place Toronto FC plays (it makes sense) and Steven effortlessly slips in a ‘Klingon’ reference like a pro.
