Another season of MLS soccer will soon be upon us. The Canadian teams will once again be ready to play. It seems an impossible task to reach the heights at the top of this league.
When talking about this, it is good to heed the words of our wise elders. Across this land their are those that grace us with their insight. In these matters and other topics, much more than you can imagine.
Though some no longer listen, they consider it just ramblings of olden times. But others rejoice, as if this is sacred knowledge from scrolls of the ancient past. They sing the words out loud. Perhaps they hope that the gods might hear and grant them favor. The melody transfixes their minds. Only movement seems to cure them of this possession.
Some remember the dark days of seasons past for their team of choice. The innocence is lost long ago. But they try to sit comfortably in their seat and wipe their tears away. They say their over this now. Done
