  1. You guys really should invite Tim Leiweke to guest on your podcast. He would accept, I am sure.

    I still don’t think MLSE own the Argos. 2 out of the 3 ownership group,but still missing an important member. So legally and in practice MLSE don’t own the Argos.

    Tony Walsh had some kind words for Leiweke. Tony also brought up a good point, TFC can bring a lot of money in, in player sale. That kind of revenue stream does not exist to CFL teams.

    Finally, last time I checked TFC has player rights to all of Ontario and either have or share with the Whitecaps, Manitoba.

  2. a bit of research suggest you’re right. I was confused with where TFC have exclusivity to, which is a 50mile radius of toronto. Montreal have all of quebec, vancouver have all of bc alberta, saskatchewan and manitoba. The rest of Ontario and the maritimes are a free for all for canadian clubs.
