  1. I’m sure many are awaiting the new kits of the NSL.

Speaking of new kits and changes that are to come in the future. I have seen glimpses of what lays ahead for CPL. I will share this since some will find it interesting the new kit sponsors coming soon…

You may find it very promising to know that new major sponsors will come to the Canadian Premier League. Large conglomerates more than willing to provide financial support. Such benefactors are impossible to refuse. Certainly it will provide the funding necessary to solidify a strong league.

You may not know of these companies but they will be a very important part of the future that will come to be.

The mega corporation known as Omni Consumer Products. Commonly referred to as OCP, with its head office in Detroit. Their logo will one day be proudly displayed on Forge FC’s kit.

This company can’t be taken lightly. They have entered into various ventures that others have failed to profit from. Hospitals, prisons and police services, to name a few. They have gambled and won, time after time. They have gained notoriety from their weapons division. As many say they practically are the military.

Some say they are an evil corporation. But many Canadiens are happy to see the changes to the police. Since the streets of Hamilton are crime ridden as the low life scum run wild across the city, chaos reigns supreme in these parts. You might say, same as its always been. But the difference is in this future their is one good cop to patrol Barton Street, Robocop! You may say it’s unethical to place the head of a cop in a robot. But he signed the contract with OCP. He should of read the fine print.

Evil you say? OCP plans to demolish the low income area of Hamilton and replace it with gleaming new luxury condos for the upper class. Does that sound evil to you? Hamilton is lucky to have such a company willing to rehab the urban decay. They are giving back to the community.

Also another addition to sponsors of the league is Weyland-Yatani corporation. This multinational company is widely known in the future. Many businesses too numerous to name them all, including its own beer brand. But they are more famous for interplanetary shipping and operating human colonies outside the solar system. They also have extensive expertise on biological weapons and alien research.

They are proud kit sponsors of York. The new kits in the unique colors of alien acid green are certainly hard to ignore. And the supporters will be happy to get their face hugged from the new mascot, Xenomorph alien. It’s hard not to get attached to cute little Xeno. But here is a pro tip, rumor is it that the Weyland-Yatani food at the stadium isn’t the best. Some say it causes stomach churning and explosive aches. Even worse than the food at the CNE.

These new sponsors will be needed if CPL hopes to compete with MLS teams. MLS will be scouring all over for new sponsors. Of note they have entered a partnership with Cyberdyne Systems.

A large company known for manufacturing high tech equipment. Mostly known for their Skynet system and T-800 Terminator. Don Garber is very interested in their research in possible time travel. Who knows what MLS may become with this knowledge. Toronto FC could do with a different timeline.

You might complain about the new corporations tainting sports. Hey, while these new companies might not be squeaky clean but at least it’s not Roger’s.I have seen the face of evil, its name is Roger’s.

Anyway, maybe you should get a NSL shirt instead…
