The Vocal Minority Final Countdown: 2017 Edition

It’s that time of year again!  That’s right, now that the flares, smoke bombs, streamers and confetti have cleared, it’s time to rank the Toronto FC players that took to the field for the Reds during the 2017 season.  I know, I know – how could you possibly rank the players after such a successful season?  After all, trophies and shields were hoisted, records were set, trebles were rocked – aren’t all the players the same, didn’t they all contribute to the fun this year?  Of course they did, but you and I know that not all contributions are created equally.  And that’s where you come in, we need your input!  By now you know the drill, get in touch with me via twitter, in the comments, on FB or via email and I’ll send you our handy player countdown ranking form.

There are 27 players to rank this year (that’s one less than last year), and yes once you hit the top 15 I expect a lot of agonising over who to put where, but I’ve got faith in you, you can do it!  We all have our favourite players and we all view how they contributed to the excitement of this past season in different ways.  Of utmost importance are the comments – be they silly or serious we want your thoughts on the players!  Let us know why you ranked someone where you did, or even if you remember who they are (though that’s not as likely as in years past); as always once we start the countdown we’ll include some of your comments in each individual piece.  As being successful shortens the off season we’ve got a limited amount of time to get this going so get in touch and have your forms back to me by December 30th and then we’ll start the countdown in the new year as wait for the new season to begin!
