Episode 107 15/10/01 #Gilberto

vm_podcast_1400x1400 Welcome to our first ever Yorkies free episode as both Mark and Tony have hamstring issues and have to miss this one. Kristin and Duncan bravely soldier on without them, joined by Ian Clarke of Red Nation Online and the East Side Stand Up podcast (twitter him here). They talk about the glories of Gilberto and TFC’s somewhat lacklustre win over Chicago, look ahead to the Philadelphia, put their minds to the Herculez Gomez mystery and all the usual nonsense. Ian is bemused when he finds out what he’s let himself in for, Duncan once again gets wistful for Preki and Chad and Kristin gets wistful for Bright Dike and Mark Bloom. Soft harp music all round really.

  1. Well I can only see one win in :the last four for TFC. Perhaps a tie can also be scratched out. So this upcoming match against Philly has to be won. I think the Philly win should be enough to hold off OC, although not mathematically. What happens if TFC and Orlando tie in the standings?

Playing Delgado at RB should be a fire-able offense.

    • It’s not the worst idea in the world, but it’s proven to not work all that well, so to keep going would be very very silly.
New Yprk lost, so they can’t catch us. I do feel tomorrow’s game is very very big. 3 points there and we’re laughing. if we don’t get them, could be very nervy.
