Finally a week off from doing the stupidest commute ever. Nobody should need to take that much public transit to get to a footy match. Now I have the comfort of a couch in a basement and no concern if there’s a roof or not, midges, gnats, mosquitoes, rain, lightning, thunder, floods, uprising. Safety. I should be in a better mood. Who wouldn’t be, after the masterclass of Wednesday night (as far as TFC goes). But then there’s the rain. Which isn’t as bad as suburban public transit rerouting around your stop without any notification of it. Which isn’t as bad as the longest train ever at a rail crossing. Well this was a long day. Not necessarily a bad one, just long. The Dwayne DeRosario Testimonial match was a fun affair. A bunch of legends with varying degrees of legendaryness suited up in a Canadians v non-Canadians. Non-Canadians won 3-1, with Dichio bagging one and DeRo bagging the other three.
