Episode 243 – 18/08/07 #worseThanHitler

The gang is all here to talk the comeback against Atlanta, look ahead to V-Cup Final first leg with Vancouver, the weekend’s match against the pizza rats, spend more time talking about Austin Bold, and the usual insanity. In this episode, Tony does a voice over for a segment, Duncan regales a swimming tale, Kristin doesn’t get a retake and Mark nearly breaks the podcast in the name of Tone Loc.

Full disclosure: Yes, the fan was filtered out so it sounds like a tin can with an echo.

This episode is always and forever brought to you by Giovinco.ca for all of your footballing needs.

  1. Hey with that echo you need to do Shakespearean soliloquy for the hell of it:

    “The raven himself is hoarse
That croaks the fatal entrance of Duncan
Under my battlements. Come, you spirits
That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here…”

You can leave that last part out if you a squeamish.

BTW – Perez really did spark the pushing incident with a helluva bull-rush and push on Mavinga. Almiron spat but most likely said something. Almiron looked like a frighten turtle as Larentowicz was telling him to “avert your eyes and assume a submissive posture”.

That wasn’t a penalty because, Bono did not touch Martinez, but Martinez sidekicked Bono in the midriff to get his contact trigger. Villareal has got to do better and Guido Gonzales Jr. was a bump on the log.

Forget “quality” it really is “What a…”, like “What a pass”, “What a shot”, “What a quality player”…
