Full disclosure, New York Red Bulls can never get a perfect score because they’re the only team in the league where their sponsor appears three times on the shirt : badge, front and lower back. And then three more times if you include the shorts and each sock.
That being said, this is really nice.
NYRB have the benefit of a really nice pallet to work with, and with said colour scheme, there’s plenty of flexibility with away kits that flatter the team’s identity. Navy shirt (pay attention Philadelphia!!!!) with embossed pinstripes, yellow sleeves with navy trim. Shallow V-neck with yellow trim. It’s simple and subtle.
The whole kit shines with yellow shorts and blue stripes, with navy socks and yellow trim. This is a very nice uniform.
I just wish I could remember who they’re sponsored by…
Get if you : love energy drinks, love things that give you wings, like sharp shirts with too much sponsorship on them no matter how well it works with the shirt
